I love taking dance classes at Smiling David's Dance School all of the instructors are amazing! Thank you for being so dedicated to us.

My daughter has been attending dance classes for a year. I cant say enough about Ivy, David and the school. My daughter absolutely loves going to class. Not only has she learned to dance salsa but it's also a great way to keep her active and fit. As a parent who lives in the city my daughter doesn't get to spend much time outdoors and gym time at her school is only once a week. I love watching her dance and seeing how far she has come with her dancing skills. She's always learning something new, having fun and she doesn't even realise how much of an amazingly good excersize it is for her. I also use it as an incentive for her to keep her grades up. What more can you ask for? WE LOVE Smiling Davids Dance School!:)

Where do I begin....When I started attending class at Smiling Dave's Studio was last February for the Womens' styling class. I was welcomed with such a family oriented atmosphere and Wow, what a workout...from there I started taking classes and quickly started learning how to dance!!! Ivy and David are amazing on the dance floor, but most importantly"their loving spirit" is what kept me coming to class! I can't wait to start up classes again...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!

I've not only been a student in the kids group at Smiling David's Dance Studio, but also in the adult's class, and have been in Sweet 16s choreographed there. They have never given a reason to not want to return! I have learned salsa, merengue, bachata, AND the waltz through them and the patience and individual attention was amazing. I've learned so much and am so grateful for everything I've gained from this dance school . Love you guys, you're amazing!

I took the adult class and had a blast learning the proper, yet fun and sensual way to dance salsa. I live in TX now and ppl dance lots of Salsa here. I still get compliments on how fun it is to dance with me. I'm no expert but the classes definitely helped me get better and I was taught how to have fun while enjoying the dance! I definitely recommend it!

I have to say that this are people that work very hard, teaching, performing. Very commited, responsible. Love to dance and will make you love it.

I am a walking, well, dancing testimony to what goes on at Smiling David's school- I have gone from not knowing how to dance to feeling comfortable dancing at socials with professionals! Smiling David and Ivy don't only teach you the steps...they teach you the sabor...I have even learned about the history of salsa- and all in a family atmosphere for experienced, new, and everything in between!

As a parent I am always looking for extra curriculum activities to enroll my children. A place where my children can develop new skills as well as social skills and I was able to find it at Smiling David's Dance school. This school provides a healthy environment for everyone so the techniques can be learned in an enjoyable way. With knowledgable people like David and Ivy, the lessons become pleasant.

Although I recently started taking Salsa Classes, my experience with the Smiling David's Dance School is profoundly amazing. I get individual attention in areas I'm not to great in and they help me have a great time while I'm learning new techniques. it's a great place especially if u have no experience in dance to commence training. I would definitely suggest The Smiling David's Dance School to everyone..

Dancing at Smiling David's has been a pleasure, the classes are fun, you sweat, you dance, you laugh at your mistakes and your get better. David and Ivy don't just teach dance the school is your usher into the very diverse world of latin music. Ivy and David are guides that enjoy sharing their passion and insights with the students. Now about the students, whether they are with Pzazz Dancers or your fellow students learning or perfecting their dance skills, students support each others progress, offering encouragement and congratulations. Come join us, work up a "latin sweat" and dance!!!

Although I am not a student as Smiling David's Dance school, I participated in a Sweet 16 dance choreographed by Ivy and David. Not only was our end result the best Sweet 16 dance I have seen to date but somehow, they managed to get me to trust my partner, develop some sort of coordination, and appreciate dance a lot more than I originally had. And from seeing students who have been at Smiling David's for an extended period of time, I am still amazed at how much talent is housed in that school, how much some of the students have grown, and how comfortable everyone is made to feel when they walk in. You guys are amazing!

Its always been a pleasure to be part of Smiling David Dance School. The instructors and performers are AMAZING!! The youth group of students are also in a class of their own!! Smiling David Dance School has proven to be one of the best in Newark.

Proud to say that I learned salsa on two at Smiling David's Dance School. I felt extremely comfortable even when I was a beginner because I was made to feel welcomed and was taught well. I picked up quickly, became part of the group, and my loyalty will always be to Smiling David & Pzazz Dancers/Kids. What's better (in a dance school) than an affordable and friendly/loving atmosphere, with experiences teachers, where you're made to feel comfortable at any level? In my opinion, nothing!

I think Smiling David's Dance school is a good thing. We need an establishment for our childred to spend time and develope their talents. I think its wonderful and the atmosphere is great and everyone seems to be having lots of fun. I hope it continues to go well.
